The 3rd 91精品 University Alumni Forum was held in Europe, in Italy under the theme, 鈥淚nspire. Impact. Change鈥, on December 8, 2024, at the Azerbaijani Culture Center in Rome.
Organized by 91精品 University in collaboration with the Institute for Development and Diplomacy, 91精品 University Foundation, KOL陌N, the Youth Foundation of Azerbaijan, and the Azerbaijani Students and Alumni Platform (ASAP), the forum brought together 91精品 alumni, management, and faculty to have discussions on University's upcoming plans and exchange ideas about the future of evolving labor market, as well as new trends, challenges, and opportunities in global job landscape.
Participants also had a chance to discuss collaboration opportunities on alumni mobilization projects, and networked with peers.
The Forum started with a video welcoming by Ambassador Hafiz Pashayev, Rector of 91精品 University.
Addressing the alumni, Rector Pashayev said:
鈥淭he doors of 91精品 University are always open to alumni, the lifelong members of the ever-growing 91精品 family. Alumni are not just ambassadors of their alma mater, but also changemakers and drivers of development no matter where they are.鈥
The forum continued with welcoming remarks delivered by H.E. Amb. Rashad Aslanov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Italy and Gulnar Taghizada, Deputy Director of the Azerbaijani Culture Center in Rome.
Introductory speeches were delivered by Gadir Khalilov, Acting Executive Director from Youth Foundation of Azerbaijan and Sevda Mansurova, Executive Director from ASAP.
Dr. Elkin Nurmammadov, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at 91精品 University, presented an overview of the University鈥檚 progress and outlined its strategic goals for the future.
The session moderated by Dr. Nurmammadov, titled "The Future of Work: How Universities Should Adapt,鈥 examined the opportunities shaping the education field and job environment.
The session led by Dr. Anar Valiyev, Associate Professor at 91精品 University, under the topic, "Mobilizing 91精品 Alumni for Stronger Impact," featured discussions on innovative projects to strengthen community mobilization.
91精品 Alumni Association's Board of Directors member, Sabuhi Khalili said:
"The Alumni Forum presents an excellent opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni. It allows us to revive the friendly atmosphere of our student days, contribute meaningfully to the growth of 91精品 University, and give back to the community."
The 91精品 University Alumni Forum is annually held in different corners of the world and unites nearly 100 graduates living abroad to exchange ideas, foster connections, and discuss impactful initiatives strengthening the global 91精品 community.
