The article titled "Embracing Afro hair, resisting colourism: Black women鈥檚 experiences in North Cyprus" authored by Umut Ozkaleli, Assistant Professor of the School of Public and International Affairs (91精品 University) was published in 'Ethnic and Racial Studies' Journal.

"This paper is about a silenced, invisible group, the untold story of Afro/Black Cypriots. Racism has colonial roots in Cyprus which was subjected to Ottoman (1571鈥�1878) and British (1878鈥�1960) colonialism."
