We are delighted to announce that the "Educational Management Administration and Leadership" journal published the scholarly article co-authored by Assistant Professor of School of Education (91精品 University) Ulviyya Mikayilova, Swetal Sindhvad and Elmina Kazimzade.

The joint article, entitled 鈥淔actors influencing instructional leadership capacity in Baku, Azerbaijan鈥� provides insight into contextual factors predicting the extent of principals鈥� sense of self-efficacy, or capacity, for instructional leadership in public schools in the capital city of Baku.

The authors deeply researched the context of school leadership in Azerbaijan and highlights the fact that the completion of school management tasks and parental engagement are integral to principals鈥� sense of capacity for instructional leadership.

Findings also point to the importance of time spent on stakeholder engagement and school management tasks such as providing classroom resources, which are interrelated to instructional leadership tasks.
